Course Description
This course is designed to further enhance and strengthen students’ command and mastery of the English language from the intermediate to upper-intermediate level.
Learning Objectives
The aims of this course are to enable students to: - facilitate students to use the four language skills and grammar at an advanced level
- provide students with a conducive English -speaking environment to use the four language skills and grammar at an advanced level
- provide students with opportunity to apply and use more complex rules of grammar in meaningful contexts
- develop higher level reading skills ( Inferential and Evaluation Levels)
- develop higher level writing skills (e.g. argumentative essays, process writing and report writing)

INTERMEDIATE ENGLISH
Course Description
This course is designed to further improve and upgrade students’ command and mastery of the English Language from the Pre-intermediate to the Intermediate level.
Learning Objectives
The aims of this course are to enable students to: - facilitate students to use the four language skills and grammar at more challenging and complex situations
- provide students with a conducive English -speaking environment to use the language skills and grammar at a higher level
- provide students with opportunity to apply and use more complex rules of grammar in meaningful contexts
- develop higher level reading skills (Reorganization and Inferential Levels)
- develop higher level writing skills (e.g. organizing paragraphs, using complex sentence linkers)

This course is designed to build upon students’ basic language skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing and grammar through an integrated and immersion approach at the pre-intermediate level.

EPP 101 + CITY & GUILDS
BEGINNER ENGLISH
Course Description
This course is designed to build upon students’ basic language skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing and grammar through an integrated and immersion approach at the beginner’s level.
Learning Objectives
The course aims to: - introduce students to the fundamentals of the four language skills and grammar structures through meaningful and interesting situations and activities
- provide students with a conducive English-speaking environment to practice the use of the four English language skills
- familiarize students with the simple rules of grammar in meaningful context
- give students a working vocabulary to communicate simple ideas
Assesments
To evaluate the achievements of the student , we conduct a final exam , Mid Test and course work marks. An English test of IELTS is conducted for EPP 104 and internationally recognized City & Guilds is conducted for EPP 103, 102 and 101.
